This in addition to delayed attempt at conception for years reduces a women ability to conceive in the future. Substantial number of young women do not receive timely information about future fertility when diagnosed with cancer.

Asking your oncologist about fertility issues will increase the chances that you these will be discussed with you or you will be referred to a specialist for detailed description of fertility preservation methods.
